Prior to beginning this discussion, review this week’s required readings and weekly lecture. OSHA has valuable guidelines for both the employer and employee. The purpose of OSHA is to provide, as far as possible, safe and healthful working conditions for U.S. workers. Under the law, both employees and employers have a role and responsibility. For this discussion, you will discuss the rights and responsibilities of both employees and employers under OSHA. Depending on the first letter of last name, you will examine the rights and responsibilities of the employee or employer. If your last name begins with A-K, you will examine the rights and responsibilities of an employee and if your last name begins with L-Z, you will examine the rights and responsibilities of an employer.
