 There is a general association of theory with impracticality but in practice this is not the 
case, but an important thing to consider is the practice and research both could contribute to 
bridge the space between the two.  
 There appears a cluster of issues and confusion between the concepts of theory and 
practice. Theory simply defines the facts and figures and the analysis in the case but it is not a 
description in it’s the best effective way and hence it does not facilitate a person as how to do 
things in their best possible way, it definitely gives an inception and an idea to give a framework 
to the task anyone is involved into. But how to go about it and how to face challenges which 
cannot be described in theory can only be described by Practical implications. In simple words if 
to define a crisp definition then theory is synonymous to knowledge and practice are 
implementation/ action. But of course without getting knowledge it is very difficult to implement 
an intelligent action. Hence theory is not always prerequisite to have a practical implication 
because in real world majorly unintelligent actions are being taken place. (The Chronicles of 
Strength, 2013) 
 Let’s try to understand it better with an example, take a routine fitness program, when a 
candidate does not believe on the advice being mentioned on a piece of paper or an article being 
published regarding the health fitness program, he is aware of the benefits of the same program 
but until he implement them with the right knowledge i.e. right form of exercise he would not 
see the results. (Williams,2007).
