Task Summary
For Assessment 1, you will be required to research and write a 1500-word report on Agile methods,
processes and the Agile approach.
This report needs to be written from the perspective of explaining the Agile software development
process to someone who has no understanding of the Agile approach, as if it is being implemented in
an organisation for the first time.
Please refer to the Task Instructions for details on how to complete this task.
Context
As organisations have started to adopt an Agile approach to software development, the role of the
Business Analyst has evolved from longer analysis and design activities done from initiation to
completion, to a world where software is produced iteratively as smaller releases in sprints. For you
to succeed in a role as an Agile Business Analyst, you will require an understanding of Agile methods,
processes, and approaches.
Task Instructions
To complete this assessment task, you must:
1. Review your subject notes, essential readings, and learning activities to ensure that you are
well prepared for the assessment.
