Assignment 2 Specifications
Task: Group Report + Presentation
Topic: Case Study on “Apple Maintains Strong Ethical Roots”
Students will form into groups of a minimum of 3 (three) students and maximum 4 (four) students by fill-in
the group formation form which must be submitted by week 8 the latest in-class (see below). Student who
try to form a group after the deadline, will not be permitted, hence he/she will not be able to submit the
assignment. Remember, the submission link will only be available for those students who have formed a
group. Moreover, you are not allowed to submit the assignment as an individual assignment.
Each group will complete a detailed analysis and present their case assessment, analysis, and outside
esearch to the class based on the case study on ‘Apple Maintains Strong Ethical Roots’. The case study is
available on your prescribed textbook:

1. Explain how Apple’s philosophy and organizational culture have impacted how it handles ethical decisions.
I think that the way Apple approach ethical decisions has had an impact on the philosophy and organizational culture is positive as well as bad but mostly good. I truly believe that the ethical circumstances of recent years, after reading this week's case study, are low in comparison to some of the organizations we have researched up to that point. I believe, Apple's ideology is positive and functional, but that also has a negative impact on its business and competitiveness. Apple's basis for success is "the development of creative, high-quality products and services and the display of honesty in every commercial interaction." Honesty, honesty, confidentiality and compliance are four fundamental principles Apple seeks to uphold in its company which contribute to their integrity.
