The three definitions of ethics with respect to the case of McWane are with respect to the behaviour of the workers, their work health safety and towards protection of the environment.
Values and perception influences the ability to work with people from various cultures with different ethical views and creates an environment of better way of thinking, shared belief and the process of communicating with the people. It shapes the way of our thinking, our behaviour towards other and the way they dress. It also considers working with people from minority communities i
espective of color, castes and races (Psychneuro, 2016).
2. Identify, describe and explain the main ethical concerns in the McWane organization.
The main ethical concerns to the case of McWane were related to the work health safety of the workers who were not allowed to go to the toilet during working hours by their supervisors and as a result they have to relive in their pants. Secondly, there were many accidents which took place in McWane factory where the workers were not given proper medical treatment and asked its workers to join as quickly as possible when they were injured. They considered the injuries of the workers as fake. Thirdly, McWane caused environmental trouble to the society by polluting a creek and conspiring to violate the regulations of the Clean Water Act. The managers at McWane ordered its employees to release the waste water from the plant into the creek.
3. What factors and reasons give rise to ethical concerns?
The reasons due to which there are ethical concerns in various business organizations are as follows:
1. Money and taxes: Many organizations in order to avoid taxes and lines the pocket of the internal shareholders. In various cases the company do not take green friendly initiatives by adapting new equipments and machineries for the work health safety of workers.
2. Unclear policies: The already established manual and ethical code of conduct are already established but are not adhered by inefficient managers and employees. This leads to offer a poor model of ethics.
