PART B (20 marks)
You are required to analyse your work environment (it can also be your college or school) to identify hazards and assess related risks.
You will need to fill out the WHS inspection and risk assessment template provided and submit a copy to your trainer for evidence.
PART C (20 marks)
Using the work health and safety records from the previous task (Part B), you are required:
1. to write a report of your findings to be submitted to your trainer as evidence. (10)
(In case you have no findings about safety, you are required to create, document and submit to your trainer, a hazardous good or substance handling procedure and also an emergency procedure (e.g. evacuation procedure) of your workplace/college.)
2. For one of the identified inadequacies above, write a recommendation to the management of staff suggesting a method to improve this area. (10)
In your letter make sure you identify the issue you found, explain why it is an issue
isk/hazard and then provide your suggestion how to improve this issue, including possible staff training required.
If no issue was found, write the recommendation letter explaining the risk assessment and inspection process you went through and that you have no findings to report.
