Introduction
This document is intended to provide an idea about the retail e-commerce start-up – Give and Take Thrift Store to boost the online avenues for smooth retail shopping experience at affordable prices and it has the goals of magnifying the warehouse outlet of Toronto and match the footsteps of standard international retail giants.
Purpose
The Give and Take Thrift Store targets the people who seeks the quality products online and reach at their fingertips through proper e-commerce channels to save time, effort, and distance. During this pandemic, when social distancing is the new normal, the feasibility and need of online retail deliverables are much more than ever, it is high time to traverse the flexibility of the store outlets online too.
Scope
This Vision Document applies to the Give and Take Thrift Store, which will be developed by the Capstone T08 team. The Capstone T08 team will develop an e-commerce platform for the thrift store. The team will be using React, Redux, Node, Express and MongoDB to actualize the result. Among the many features The Give and Take Thrift Store will have include full feature shopping cart, product reviews and rating, admin product management, admin user management, checkout process, PayPal and credit card pay method, product carousel.
