This document is intended to provide an idea about
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to capture the client's overall vision for the project. This information will help ensure that the project goals and high-level requirements are well understood. It focuses on the capabilities needed by the stakeholders, and the target users, and why these needs exist.
Scope
This Vision Document applies to the Give and Take Thrift Store, which will be developed by the Capstone T08 team. The Capstone T08 team will develop an e-commerce platform for the thrift store. The team will be using React, Redux, Node, Express and MongoDB to actualize the result. Among the many features The Give and Take Thrift Store will have include: full feature shopping cart, product reviews and rating, admin product management, admin user management, checkout process, PayPal and credit card pay method, product carousel.

The COVID-19 pandemic had made a devastating impact on the Canadian economy and has affected people from all walks of life. One of the hardest hit areas is the small-business, and during such time it is risky to open new business but there is a need to be fill. There may have been a time when shopping at thrift stores is unpopular but due to the pandemic and social media influencers it is quickly becoming a trend in Canada. The average profit on thrift stores is pretty low because of all the costs to having a physical location. The biggest costs for a traditional store are rent and staffing; in response to cost saving measure would be the "Thrift Store E-Commerce"
