The variables are PRICE (Price of the each House),

POOL (Whether the house has a swimming pool or not. Pool has a value 1 if the house has a swimming pool and "0" if the house does not have a swimming pool)

DISTANCE (Distance from the City in miles)

SIZE (The amount of living space in the house in Square Feet)

YOUR ASSIGNMENT

Sort the data according and separate houses that have a swimming pool from houses that do not have a swimming pool

  1. Calculate the mean and standard deviations for (Prices, Living Space, and Distance from the City) of the two categories of houses (Swimming pool vs. no swimming pool)
  2. Calculate the Coefficients of Variations comparing the two categories of houses and present your results in tables and charts. Which category of houses has a wider variation in the values of the variables that you analyzed?
  3. Construct a 97% Confidence Interval Estimate for each of the three variables and use your Confidence Intervals to compare the two categories of houses
