Stance on the Three Strikes law
	The “Three Strikes” law that was enacted in 1993 although intended for good purposes has led to several non-violent individuals to be sentenced to imprisonment. For the overall impact it has had on the lives of thousands of Americans, I don’t support or favor the “three strikes” law. According to (ACLU, 2017), the people who have been imprisoned under the law are mostly non-violent prisoners with a record of crimes that include robbery or stealing.
