Anthropology, as defined by Oxford, is the study of human societies, culture, and the development of both, and not only anthropology in the 18th and 19th centuries were referred to as the “science of race” which meant that the studies of race are what anthropology is.
Anthropologists changed people’s attitudes by changing people’s behaviour, as for anthropology the meaning of human difference was different than what was identified by scholars and other philosophers, they did by moving biology to culture, and nature to nurture among the few changes which they made because of the belief that there is no race which differentiates people. The whole idea of the race which was established by many philosophers and scholars was accepted in the 18th century except for a group of few from several groups who were not ready to accept it because of many reasons, which is like race is not something which can differentiate people.
