Controlling Gang Problems in Prison:
Prison is considered as a place where corrective measures are taken up so as to reform individuals and criminals to an extent so that they can get another chance to rectify themselves as a human being. But the process is not that easy as they say. The inmates ranges from normal first time criminals to serial offenders and even very critical ones which includes the murderers and killers. They are various prison gangs and groups that disrupt the proper function of the administrators. They are known to perpetuate criminal activity, and they threaten violence and total disruption of an institution and disrupt the correctional procedures of the prison ecosystem. So these days in various prisons across the world a control strategy is being implemented to tackle these gang issues which includes isolation, lockdowns and relocation.
