The key ethical dilemma in the given case is that on one hand the people in Indonesia are 
getting unemployment while on the other hand they are being paid abysmally low wages 
which is not enough to live a dignified life. However, in the absence of these jobs, the people 
would be unemployed and would not have the wages they are receiving from Nike 
sweatshop. Hence, the key issue is to opine on whether these should continue or not. 
This is a conflict of imperatives as it seems that Nike is not being fair to the workers in the 
sweatshop. Further, the relationship existing at the sweatshop seems to be heavily skewed in 
the favor of Nike as the workers are being exploited in the name of offering employment. The 
company in these sweatshops is neither respecting the rights of the employees nor serving 
their needs which clearly bring in a conflicting situation.
