How Organisms May Reflect Thermoregulation 
 
 
Preservation of body temperature is also termed as “Thermo regulation.” This is a component of 
the homeostasis phenomenon which might be defined as; “an environment that can support the 
survival of cells that are the structural as well as functional units of an organism”.  
For instance; organisms may control their body temperature that is above their tolerance level via 
adoption of following ways: 
Amphibians as frog may reflect basking when temperature is high and come out when it gets 
lower. The same phenomenon could also be observed in reptiles such as, lizard, snake etc.
