Introduction
Globalization since the 1970s has led to a rapid expansion of corporations and institutions in every corner of the world. Contemplated by the regulations and technological changes, these institutions have become increasingly powerful. Hence, the state lost its control over these institutions and failed to regulate them. These organizations mutilated the aspect of regulatory a
itrage and took advantage by evading tax regulations on labor and the environment. Since the beginning of the 1970s multinational companies initiated the rise of global capitalism which projected ethical dilemmas for these organizations (Krishna, Dangayach & Jainabc, 2018). The organizations face moral dilemmas in terms of labor, standards, environment, co

Later several organizations proposed an international code of ethics based on the common good and human dignity with an effective social responsibility.
This paper focuses on the case study of Volkswagen with the persistent ethical questions and conducts of the organization. A comprehensive aspect of ethical theories and approaches is discussed with an effective argument for making an ethical decision.

Now the company's business activities comprise of automotive industry division and financial services division. The automotive division comprises passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and power engineering businesses.
Volkswagen and its Failed Social Responsibility
The case of Volkswagen records to be an absolute failure in terms of social responsibility. Due to its i
esponsibility and low-level decision making the good name of the organization was tarnished immensely in the last five years. Although the organization faced severe financial penalties it is evident to note that the function of the organization has affected the social and the environmental aspects of the global economy (Grecmanová, Dopita & U
anovská, 2017).
