Governmental regulation in the realm of education, particularly in the sphere of
school education, has always remained an issue of debate among the majority of the
populace of the United States of America. For some it is feasible for the government to
egulate the education system and for some others this regulation of the government in
espect of education is unnecessary and ineffective. Though both sides of the debate
have forwarded reasons for their favoring, in my opinion there are several important

must regulate the education system and it should formulate various cu
iculums of
education to govern the system of effective education. To promote the social wellbeing

other supporters of the view that government should regulate education provide some
important examples of the fruitfulness of government intervention in the realm of
education. Most of them prefer to cite the example of the GI Bill of 1944 which
“provided grants and higher education opportunities for veterans returning home
from World War II, and along the way remade American...
