Introduction
This paper would explain the fraudulent accounting practices, which has led
towards collapsing of the WorldCom. Another goal of this paper has been to use a six
step decision making practice for evaluating the ethical problem of the WorldCom.
Additionally assess of ethics of WorldCom from the perspective of Immanuel Kant.
Ethical problems raised in WorldCom case
Ethical problems raised in WorldCom case had been the fraud as well as the
greed. WorldCom has misrepresented their name and they have misrepresented their
function as well as much importantly this has misrepresented their customers.
Organization has tried to consolidate among the companies, which had not been doing
well that in my point of view had been the best plan.
Consolidation had been the way to strengthen the name WorldCom. Through
trying towards being the telecommunications mogul, Mr. E
ers has placed the
aggregate of pressure on the organizations, himself as well as its consumers.
However, WorldCom need manipulate their financial statements so that
organization might seem as if this had been the telecommunications giant, which that

leaded the organization by downfall as well as the fraud investigation (Moberg, 2003).
Critically evaluation of WorldCom's ethical problems

WorldCom.
In beginning of 90’s WorldCom had been one of several organizations that have
merged for competition (Moberg, 2003). Mr. E
ers may not seem towards being or
sound as if he had been the smart business man. He has merged without being thinking
of results as well as without having the rational business strategy.
He attempted to raise his capital but did not think of the consequences but yet
importance of the stock exchange. Mr. E
ers thought for the present but never, from
what I could determine, thought about the future. Mr. E
ers used WorldCom stocks as
collateral for money that was bo
owed and thought that the stocks would increase
(Moberg, 2003).
When the stock started to decline, he sold stock which eventually placed him in
debt of the bank that he bo
owed from. WorldCom allowed Mr. E
ers to bo
ow
money for his loans so that the share prices for WorldCom...
