From the passage Declaration of Independence, the lines with the highest level of philosophical significance provide an insight into the grievances of the Americans over the English ruling. This is evident within the line stating that a prince with a character marked by every act providing a definition of a Tyrant is not fit to become a ruler of free individuals. From the line, a conclusion is drawn on the expectations of how a ruler should conduct him or herself.
