Social imagination is the social ability to see a particular context from a different point of view that helps in decision-making and to judge the decision made by others. The social imagination helps in creating a better perspective and generates empathy. From the perspective of an individual, social imagination helps in developing the sense to question various aspects of social behaviors and to identify the various perceptions in a better way. But it does not prepare a person to live with the uncertainties created by various social situations (Wissman, 2019). It is believed that individuals equipped with sociological imagination can take some smart choices and it helps in the decision-making process.
