The main function of kidney is to clear the waste out of body. Kidney e as an organ is used to control the level of electrolytes, acid and water in the body so that the body functions appropriately. Humans are born with two Kidneys but the survivor of the body can also happen with one. When one kidney is lost, the size of the Other kidney increases in order to compensate for the loss of the Other kidney.
