Brancourts, one of the popular dairy processor companies in Australia has gone into voluntary administration. It is indicated that there going to have employment crisis at two of its operating centres, New South Wales and Victoria.  As per the official spokesman of the company, the sales and the manufacturing arm of the company has gone into voluntary administration. The company is established in 1895 and since then it is making cheese and supplying the same to the consumers of Australia. Diverse products of the company are seen commonly in the shelves of the consumer supermarkets.  Already about 50 employees from different divisions of the company and from different job classes (full time and part time) have lost their jobs and the government agencies are looking to ensure that they do receive their job entitlements. One of the key reasons of the current situation is reported to be the reduced national milk volume and subsequent increase in competition among the dairy companies to secure inputs for their factories.  Company will be getting into voluntary administration this Wednesday and the employees will be paid salary till that day. United dairy farmers of Victoria president and other stakeholders expressed confidence in getting the new owner for the company soon and there are optimistic in employing back employees into the organization. However concerns are expressed and expecting to do things swiftly to move faster. 
Causes of the crisis:
The key reason for the escalation of the situation to the present scenario is the fact that the total volume of milk production has reduced by about 10% this year and this is mainly due to the fact that most of the farmers have closed down their doors from production.
