Should citizens trust our government to protect our civil liberties? Why or Why Not?
Yes, the citizens have to trust our government for protecting civil liberties. The government has to implement laws and facilities for protecting civil liberties and interest of the people. Civil liberties called as the set of principles that helps for protecting the interest of the people in the country (Gostin et al 2020,p.1131). 
Do you think the United States has succeeded in adequately preserving citizens' rights and freedoms or have we failed? Explain your answer.
To a certain extent, the US has succeeded in preserving citizens' rights and freedoms.
