The wild male mating large sized female
is shown in Fig 1, as male always
competes for large size female to pass on
gene for healthy off springs. (Martin J.
Whiting 1999). The latency time to court
large size female is higher when
compared to small sized females due to
competition from other wild males to
mate. The strong males succeed to mate
large size females and weak males prefer
small size female for mating and its
courting time is less due to low
competition.
The aim/objective of this study was to
find out whether size of female influences
preference of male choice in mating and
courting time.
