Assignment 1 (10 points)
Throughout this term we will be investigating the market for interior and exterior paint as a class,
in small group discussions, and in assignments. This will include paint sold for painting homes
(primarily) as well as paint sold to business through outlets which sell to home owners. We will
NOT consider automobile paint.
Respond to the following questions. Your finished work should be under 2 pages. Please repeat the
question and respond after the question.
Do NOT turn this into an essay. But also do not make your answers too short. I need to see that
you UNDERSTAND what you write. I want your answers to be informed — do not dash them
off too quickly.
You WILL need to do online research to complete this assignment. Please start by looking at
www.millerpaint.com and www.behr.com. Also do online searches around painting your
home and other terms.
