On March 15, Traditional Realty Company offered to sell a building to Jupiter Art Supply. The purchase price was $5,345,000. The offer was communicated by telegraph and stated that the offer would expire on April 15. Jupiter wanted the building and sent a letter of acceptance on April 10. The letter was lost by the post office and Traditional did not receive the acceptance until April 18. Is there a contract between Traditional Realty and Jupiter? Please explain.
