Economics is the empirical study of the management, utilisation, and trade of finite commodities – also known as scarcity science. Economics is classified as a social science since it employs scientific techniques to develop hypotheses that can be used to describe the behaviour of people, communities, and institutions. Economics seeks to demonstrate economic actions as it occurs from the exchange of limited resources. Economists, like most social sciences, are unable to do structured trials in the same manner as chemists and biologists can. As a result, economists must use a variety of approaches, especially interpretation and inference, as well as the creation of conceptual theories. Economists conduct their research using scientific evaluation and inference.
Methodology used in study:
· Describe and quantify the interactions they witness: Economists characterise and calculate shifts in economic factors over time. Economists, for instance, explain and quantify how consumer interaction affects the value of a wide range of goods, including automobiles, homes, haircuts, and electronic applications. In economics, estimation can include many types, namely absolute and relative quantities and prices. Index numbers are often used to measure relative values.
