Role Model 
According to Wasylyshyn and Masterpasqua (2018), a leader may be anyone, who aspires to be one, regardless of their position within an organization. I have always been inspired with my captain at Marine Corp who never failed to prove that he is a great leader. There are a few characteristics of a great leader, which are universal. They are characteristics, which any excellent leader should possess or aim towards.
Some of them, which I admire in him, are that he is someone who creates an inspirational vision of the future. He always inspires others to connect with that vision and manages delivery of the vision. He is available in coaching and strengthening us so that it is more effective at attaining the goal. 
Characteristics I do possess 
The capacity to perceive the overall picture of where a team is heading, what it is capable of, and what it will take to get there is referred to as vision. As noted by Gray (2018), maintaining a positive but realistic presence is critical for keeping team members motivated and engaged, as well as remembering why they are working, this is the characteristic, which I possess. He always taught that a good leader must be able to build meaningful working relationships, participate in active listening, and relate with others in a real manner.
As mentioned by Wasylyshyn and Masterpasqua (2018), being a successful leader entails being open to new ideas and accepting that there is no "correct" way to accomplish things.
