decisions you have found? Why or why not? 
 
On 8th September 2009, an eight-year battle between a local Malaysian restaurant serving primarily Indian 
fare and an American fast-food giant was ended by what can be labelled a sensible decision taken by the 
highest court of Malaysia. This court battle was between McCurry, a family-owned restaurant and 
McDonalds on the issue of usage of the ‘Mc’ prefix in their conduct of business operations. The restaurant 
has been run by A.M.S.P.
