The presentation should include the following sections.
Introduction and Summary: Introduction to the presentation and a summary of the article’s main premise/key points and what author is trying to convey. Present the overall scope of the article/essay/case/report. Do not offer any opinions in this part.Questions to think about: What is the author’s overall purpose? What are the main points discussed in the work to support this purpose?
Critique:The critique should be a detailed analysis comprising several components. Explain the theory and statistics – how author came to a particular finding/conclusion. Provide a detailed analysis of both the context surrounding the article and the Banking scenario, and a critique of the accuracy and quality of the author and article in their interpretation/recount of the scenario. Consider in your analysis: the credentials of the author, the logic of his/her argument, the author’s assumptions, the methods used to reason, the style or tone of the work, the currency of the argument, and the effectiveness of the author in justifying his/her point.
Conclusion:Restate the main points addressed and present a general opinion of the article/essay/case study/report.
