For this assessment task you are required to develop a comprehensive written work health and safety system in the format of a policies and procedures manual for you real or simulated personal services business. Your policies and procedures manual must be written in the accepted format for a policy and procedures manual including a content page, version control and relevant headers and footers. You are required to establish WHS policies and procedures that will be implemented in your personal services business (real or simulated) and that address ways in which WHS policies and procedures can be maintained. You will be required to critically analyse your chosen business (real or simulated) to ensure that your policies and procedures manual is tailored co
ectly to the business WHS requirements. Your WHS policies and procedures manual must include:
1. Address the functions of your personal services business in a clearly articulated summary.
· What are the key operational functions of your (real or simulated) business.
· Include the financial and human resources commitment to support the management of WHS practices.
2. A summary of the WHS Act 2011 legislation requirements as it applies to your (real or simulated) personal services business.
3. A consultation strategy that includes.
· Consultation methods. Strategies for consultation and who the consultation process involves.
· Outline the appropriate times for consultation to occur in line with the WHS Act 2011 legislation.
· How consultation methods will be implemented
· systems to communicate work health and safety information to workers.
· How will issues be resolved through consultation
· How will staff be informed of the outcomes of the consultation process
4. A workplace health and safety induction process that includes.
· A detailed induction process and an appropriate checklist form for induction.
