INTRODUCTION
Each and every organization formulates some goals/objectives and in order to achieve
these it needs a pool of talented people who are self motivated and who work hard towards
the accomplishment of these goals. This calls for the need of People and Talent Management,
oth of which help in attracting, retaining, developing and honing their employees‟ skills,
abilities and aptitude.
ATTRACTING AND RETAINING TALENT
In order to cure a problem, we first need to know the cause of the same, in the same
way the most important and primary step for a firm to work in the direction of attracting and
etaining their employees is to understand the causes which primarily contribute to their
dissatisfaction -
ï‚· Inability to cope up with the cu
ent atmosphere of the organization or find the
atmosphere unhealthy for learning and growth
ï‚· Inadequate provision for training and development and therefore the employee
doesn‟t feel confident about his/her future
ï‚· Dissatisfaction with the kind of work/designation which the employee is handling at
the moment and therefore the employee doesn‟t feel important to the organization
ï‚· Lack of provision of incentives by the top management
In order to encounter these issues the firm can take up various actions, these actions
