From the following information determine the amino acid sequence of a peptide.

N-terminal Edman gives PTH-Alanine

C terminal carboxypeptidase treatment, no observable reaction

Trypsin cleavage gives three products

1. Arg

2. Peptide containing Ala, Lys

3. Peptide containing Asp, Met, Phe, Pro

Mild Chymotrypsin cleavage gives 2 peptides

1. Peptide containing Asp, Pro

2. Peptide containing Ala, Arg, Lys, Met, Phe

CNBr cleavage gives 2 peptides

1. Peptide containing Ala, Arg, Lys and homoserine

2. Peptide containing Asp, Phe, Pro

You must supply the answer as the 3-letter amino acid sequence from N-terminus to C-terminus in the form (you must use dashes, not spaces between the amino acids) for example;

Met-Thr-Glu-Trp

N-terminal degradation of the amino acid sequence of the peptide gives PTH-Alanine. Thus in
there is Alanine in the N-terminal end of the peptide.
There is no observable reaction with C terminal ca
oxypeptidase.C terminal ca
oxypeptidase
A cleaves amino side of c-terminal amino acid except arginine, lysine, methionine and proline.
As there is not any reaction with ca
oxypeptidase , then there must be any one of the mentioned
amino acid in the c-terminal end.
Trypsin cleavage gives three...
