Introduction
    Racial discrimination is among one of the prevalent anti-social activities that are pervasive in different sections of society. Racial discrimination points out the fact where the human beings are discriminated against and treated unfairly on the verge of their race i.e. the color. It is among one of the social issues that are prevalent in the world for ages and with the moving time the issue is found to be increasing rather than getting minimized from the society. In the world, several kinds of discrimination exist which include gender discrimination and cultural discrimination but seeking the present condition the racial discrimination is haunting the people all around by different cases and incidents which came into account.
    In a country like the United States, racial discrimination has become very common and is practiced even in schools and organizations. Differentiating the people based on their race is something very absurd but still, people are practicing it which is creating a rift within the society. In this thesis, the main argument would be based upon the fact that racial discrimination is imposing a negative impact on society and the people and it is spreading vigorously due to the lack of policies and laws formulated by the government. The willingness to change is the basic thing required here.
Racial Discrimination
    Racial discrimination is a basic practice in many of the countries where people are categorized as white and black one and treated unfairly on the verge of it. The black people are treated unfairly in the context of the white (Bernard et al.). Racial discrimination is one of the unethical social issues which is prevailing with a rapid force in the world the people are often treated and judged on the basis of their color and race. The practice which was started years ago is strengthening its roots more rapidly in the society. There are different types of race discrimination on which the people are discriminated against. Some of them include-
Direct Discrimination
    Direct discrimination is observed when a person is treated differently from the other one in the same situation. This kind of situation is faced by several black people in the situations where they are looking for a residence to live in or any job interview. In this context, the white ones are given more preference than them. Direct discrimination is observed at several positions and places where the people are discriminated only in comparison to the others just because of their color and the race.
Indirect Discrimination
    Indirect discrimination is observed when a particular policy is framed by any of the organizations or the social group that puts people of any specific racial group at an utter disadvantage in comparison to the other counterpart. These kinds of situation are observed when the rule which states that the black people would have to go through a proper checking process at airports and railway stations (Yip & Tiffany).
Harassment
    Harassment is also considered a type of racial discrimination where a person is made feel humiliated, offended, or disregarded. For instance, if a young American black man is being called by racist name by his colleagues or friend at work or any party (Small et al.).
Victimization
    Victimization is observed when a person is treated badly or threatened in case if he tries to file a complaint against race-related discrimination under the equality act. The victimization can also be observed in the case of the person who has supported the one who has filed the complaint against any kind of racial discrimination faced by him. Victimization is one of the most prominent thing that restricts the control of the discrimination prevailing in the world as the people who are victimized are not able to open up about their situations or the conditions in front of the people or the world as they are living in constant fear and thereat of being bullied by the discriminators. So less actions and measures are observed in this topic.
    Racial discrimination is prevailing due to several reasons whether it is the negative mindset of the people or the lack of concern from the government side. There are ample reasons behind it and all of them point out the fact that racial discrimination came out as a major social and ethical issue for society.
Impact of the Racial Discrimination
    Racial discrimination is authenticated by some of the groups as they believe it helps in categorizing and classifying the identities of the people who specifically forgot about the impact that racial discrimination is possessing on society (Carter). The impact of the racial discrimination is affecting the society as well as the upcoming generation on a wider extent as the thing is passed on from one generation to another and the white population has started taking it as a right to mis treat the black population just on the verge of their color.
