The purpose of this literature review is to gain an in-depth understanding of your intended topic and to identify either a gap in the literature or a issue, situation, problem or opportunity your proposed research study will address.

A literature review is not about answering the research question but is only about the existing knowledge. It is not about finding the key answers but finding one. It should be related to the topic of research that is to be studied and the critical analysis of the existing articles, journals and other reliable sources. As explained by White (2014), a literature review is about explaining the subject of the topic.
In order to formulate a great literature review, the topic of understanding should be clear to the author or the researcher. Based on that, the answers should be found out. These research gaps, which will not be met, can be identified, through which the research questions will be answered (The Writing Centre, 2021). The recommendation part of the articles that provides scope for further research is the main area to look for to determine the research gap.
There will also be a great emphasis on peer-reviewed articles, which can be helpful and reliable. For a quality review regarding the literature, the existing books should also be looked into.
