products are being sold to the customer, the main responsibility of the employee is to let this
information known in the organization, and this includes letting the top management know the
grave situation so that a top down approach can be taken to solve the problem at hand.
1. How would you effectively present the issue of potentially defective products to the
CEO, other directors, and managers?
A mailer should be shot across on an urgent basis when the employee is convinced about
the potential defective in the products being sold. He should check up on his finding within his
immediate circle at work before involving the top
ass. Then a telephone call to the head of the
department should be the next course of action. The urgent mailer should galvanize action from
the top management’s side. The mail discussed with the immediate superior at work or the head
of the department should be sent. The mail addressed to the CEO, directors and other managers
should contain the details of the problem being noticed at hand with enough evidence.
Most probably the top management will swing into action and call for an immediate
meeting. If the mailer somehow misses the eyes of a few of the managers, and it is taking time
for action from their end, a telephone call to the CEO’s office or the concerned Director’s office
