 The freight transport system can be define as the physical process of transporting goods and mechandise, basically cargo. The word shipping originally pointed to transport by sea, but in American English transport by land and air is also referred as transporting. There is a huge difference between transport and freight, that is the locomotive used . Although  both have the same purpose , that is transporting, freight refers to commodities being transported and transferred on lorries and rail while cargo refers to planes and ships. The Freight Management System is a system which should be involved in every company  in order to improve companies communication and productivity, reduces data set entry manually, and helps eliminate technical errors. This management system helps coordinating all the data in a transportation network. Proper planning is required to cherish the benefits of this system.
 The  world  freight  transportation  system  is continuously been  affected  by  convulence  of technology,  infrastructure,  modes  and  methods.  This has resulted to the  emergence of world supply chain management. The  efforts trying  to  rebuild the  price,  capacity,  efficiency  and others key sections of the industry.
