LAN( Local Area Network) is a network which connects different nodes to the main computer in a local setup. This system can be in a building, office or home. 
These days virtual LANs are in trend which helps in splitting the congestion of a big network into two. As indicated by Nguyen et.al  (2017) these networks are separated virtually with the help of router and software instead creating provisions physically. This helps in managing network easily and effectively. 
Cloud is also referred to as network of servers which operates over internet. The data is stored over internet servers. This provides remote access, the only condtion is availability and connectivity to internet. It has two parts: frontend and backend. When the data is accessed by user the front end with internet helps in doing same where as the information is stored in backened part. The provisions are constructed by service providers to deal with issues of security threats, data breach, data loss etc. Recently Federal government has also modified its IT strategy by cloud adoption.
As the world is migrating to cloud based solutions one should be aware of threats wihc comes with it. It leads to leser control of data due to policy framework. High chances of unauthorized use as a result of on-demand self service feature. According to T.Subramanian and  Jeyaraj (2018) the accessibility and maangement will be compromised due to lost cost offerings. The data which is instructed to be removed can be incomplete deletion leading to excessive space usage and duplication.
