Job Description of Corporate Ethics officer 
 In the present, companies have faced issues of unethical practices in their organizations 
that affect their brand image and reputation in the market. So, it is important to employ a 
corporate ethic officer to avoid these unethical practices within organization. The ethic officer 
has responsibility to make sure that all practices and operations of organization are following 
code of ethics or not.  
Role of an Ethics Officer: The corporate ethic officer plays several roles in the 
organization to make sure that company is following all ethics in its operations. An ethic officer 
has responsibility to identify the corporate values and develop code of ethics for all programs 
and activities in the organization (Rendtorff, 2009). Along with this, ethic officer has duty to 
develop training programs for employees to provide them information regarding ethical goals 
and codes of organization that are concerned during the decision making. In addition of this, 
ethic officer has responsibility to investigate the unethical activity by judging it from different 
aspects and factors. An ethic officer can modify the code of ethics according to the changes in 
external environment, government policies and perception of population (Trevino & Nelson, 
2010).
