a debate on a specific subject and state (speak about) my opinions in class in about 5 to 15 minutes.
The subject is ( Japan should mandate that women comprise at least %30 of corporate board positions.)My part is FOR the case, NOT against it.
I am supposed to mention BOTH Pros and Cons in my debate.
And to help me prepare the debate, the professor told me that I must read:
For the Pros:- Germany Sets Gender Quota In Boardrooms (New York Times)- Three reasons why Shinzo Abe thinks women will save Japan's economy (Telegraph)
For the Cons:- Boardroom Quotas won't help women (New York Times)- Why American women hate board quotas (Washington Post)
To prepare the debate I should apply some basic rules to it.These rules are mentioned in the attached picture.
I hope everything I said is clear.If anything is not clear please ask me because I want my part to be a good one.

Good  to the Excellencies, my respected teachers, and my dear friends. 
Today I stand before you to express my views in the favour of the given topic “Japan should mandate 
that women comprise at least 30% of corporate board positions” for the debate. 
In today’s world where both men and women are working side by side in corporate boardroom and 
giving stiff competition to each other, the term gender equality has now become the top agenda for 
almost every government worldwide. Taking this initiative further many European countries, 
including Austria, Norway, Germany, France and many more have adopted different variations of 
corporate board room quota for women ranging from 30 to 40 %.  Currently women are lagging 
globally in offices, governing boards, and pay-scale; this is a significant step by the government to 
increase their presence.   
Let’s first start with the Pros: 
1. This step is the most effective way which will ensure gender equality in the board rooms.
