ANS. Moral philosophies used by:
SID: he had a positive approach. He was keen and eager to learn new custom and traits of the assigned place. He being a Japanese descent mixed well with the culture and customs of Japan. He was comfortable in doing his job.
GLENNA: Glenna was a responsible employee and she took all the assigned jobs with a challenge but as the Tokyo assignment came she took a set back. Her approach was “us verse them” approach. Glenna though herself to be superior to the Japanese. She had a cultural ba
ier and this was the main reason she was not keen to take up the Tokyo assignment. But Glenna had a rational approach too.
RON: Ron was a person who had this approach of going by the book. He was a hypothetical person whose philosophy was to do the thing as said or in other words to do the things what u are meant to do. In taking up this approach he did only the reduction in expenses, he was least concerned with any other things. He was also not satisfied with his transfer to Tokyo.

ANS. The control options which could have exercised by D&R that would have created more ethical culture are as follows:
1) D&R should have made such an environment in which the employees were trained to be adaptive.
2) The employees should be trained via cultural programs so that they are at an easy when they are confronted in a new environment.
