From the case that has been provided, Margaret had a ve
al contract with Emily her daughter. The agreement was that Emily would work in the shop for as long as she was needed. In exchange, she would get any unsold dolls. At the age of 16, Emily was old enough and any agreement made with her was binding (Beale, Bishop & Furmston, 2006).
Therefore, after Margret’s retirement at the end of 2009, she was to give all the unsold dolls to Emily according to the contract they had.
