For example, you may have learned how to organize digital files or manage an office at work, balance a budget or plan groceries and meals at home, program apps on your own, or write a standard essay in school.

2. In the boxes below, write a short paragraph about each of the above experiences, describing what you learned and the process through which you learned it (the boxes will expand to fit your writing). For example, did you watch someone else do it first? Did you have a teacher or learn it by yourself? Did you get it right away or have to keep trying? How did you feel after you learned it? Do any of the three learning experiences have anything in common? Which one did you enjoy the most? Explain your choice.
3. In three or four paragraphs, critically reflect on the learning process and what kind of learner you are. Be sure to explain:
· how the above learning experiences taught you how you learn most effectively
· how you intend to apply that knowledge to future learning experiences here at CfA
As you reflect, it may be helpful to consider these questions: Did one learning process work better for you? Which parts of the process were the most helpful? Is there a way that you prefer to learn? Has this always been the way you learn best? When you are being taught a different way, how do you make sure that you still learn effectively? Based on what you know, how do you plan to adapt your learning style to the CfA platform and process?
