Your PowerPoint presentation should be 10 slides, not counting the title slide and reference slide. Include at least two scholarly resources (in addition to your textbook) to support your work. All directly quoted and paraphrased material must have accompanying citations and be listed on the reference slide per APA guidelines.

To understand what and how a leader should be, we need to know how crucial team work itself is.
A closely knit and efficient team brings its members closer to each other and motivates them as one body towards the accomplishment of the team goal.
So an obvious result of such a team is increase in their efficiency at work and thus better productivity.
When members of a team, work together in harmony by blending individual talents and strengths it builds their relationship and thus feelings of belonging to their team. They know they can trust each other and resolve their conflicts with open communication and understanding (West, 2012).
Characteristics a Leader should possess

What a team requires to achieve that is a successful leader. A successful leader shows them the way by example and helps them through all the challenges, both external and internal.
This brings us to the how the leader himself should be. Though the skills and talents are innumerable we will discuss three major characteristics that will aid any leader to guide the team to its objectives.

First and foremost, the leader should be clear about the goals, where they are headed through their teamwork and how they are to function for best results. He should possess a compelling energy that drives the entire team into believing and striving towards the goals (Daft, 2018).
Any work can be achieved through knowledge followed by confidence in oneself. It is all the more important for a  leader, because every member of the team is looking up to him/her. A leader commands respect and deals with every challenge with strength and confidence.
Communication is the key to success. Every effort will be lost if the leader fails to communicate well. The leader should maintain clear-cut communication while assigning tasks and goals and be sure to let every member feel heard (Maxwell, 2007).
