Difference between Code Law and Common Law
As per the famous lawyers, there are two main categories of the legal system of the countries all over the world. They are the common law system and the civil law system. More over 150 countries can be described as the civil law system and they follow them wholeheartedly on the other hand, near about 80 countries possess the common law system.
As stated by Scalia (2018), the main difference between these two systems is that in the case of common law system, countries case law, which is usually published in the form of judicial opinion, is of primary importance. However, on the other hand, civil law system, which is also known as code law, primarily codified the statues predominate.
Code law in any country refers to the collection of laws related to particular subject or matter where codification is the process of compiling and systemizing the laws into code.
