From Table 1, we concluded that the percentage of White people is highest in the US population while Asians are present in the smallest percentage. This can be explained in terms of four sociological theories as below: 
· As per the symbolic interactionism theory, race and ethnicity are the strong symbols for the identification of an individuals and these symbols of race lead to the issue of racism. That’s why we found significant differences in the median income and poverty rate among peoples of different races.
· As we obtained significant differences in the median income and poverty rate among peoples of different races, in view of the social conflict theory, race and ethnicity are the major reason for social inequalities. It divides community into dominant and discriminated groups and a reason for creation of disparity and tension among different groups.
