1. History of DNA Analysis 
The first use of DNA in terms of the forensic aspect was first used in 1986 which opened an additional opportunity for using DNA analysis in the legal field and beyond. The first person who was convicted of reusing the aspects of DNA analysis was in the UK Robert Melias in 1987. Later in the year 1992, in the case of Glen Dale Woodall VS the state of West Virginia and in the case of the murder trial of Timothy Wilson Spencer in 1994 also used the pieces of evidence of the DNA analysis that resulted in the sentencing of the murder to the death penalty. However, the history goes back to 1867 Frederick Miescher first identified DNA but was not utilized until James Watson and Francis Crick identified the three-dimensional double helix structure of DNA (Budowle, 2018).
