	Airbus had selected a faulty procurement option for their A380 aircraft production. They did not communicate with one another, in terms of the versions of CATIA software their manufacturing plants at Hamburg and Toulouse were using and that of the Hamburg turned out to be an obsolete one, while that of Toulouse was the latest version (Shore, 2009). They had applied a traditional method, where the wiring harness from Hamburg would be fit into the fuselage of the plan in Toulouse. 
However, due to incompatibility of sizes due to obsolete wiring, the production process had to be stopped, with 2 years delay to manufacture the proper wiring harness. Therefore, as inferred by Cerutti, Ardente, Contu, Donno and Beccaro (2018),
