Fleet was developed in 2015 with an aim to find a solution to Australia’s particular challenges in connectivity. The company works on a mission to connect everything by utilizing innovations in communication and space technology to revolutionize the concept of remote connectivity.
The idea of Fleet is based on Long range (Lo-Ra) low power wireless tracking which is used with lower modulations in wide area network specifications of IoTs, for solving the challenges of security, energy efficiency, roaming and unauthorized access in IoT network.
The LoRa based RF technology can be integrated into anything like street lights, cars, wearable devices, home appliances and anywhere and can improve considerably the way we interact. It will turn the world into a smarter planet. It is simple and easy to plug into existing infrastructures. The applications based on Smart IoT technology will be helpful in addressing many challenges of the modern population like pollution control, climate change, early warning about disasters, and saving millions of lives.
The technology has revolutionized the way sensors can be connected in remote areas. It provides GPS free, low power and low-cost applications for tracking. A single base station can enable prolonged penetration up to extremely dense remote areas and can provide faster connectivity for more than 30 miles distances in rural areas.
