Introduction
Event Management is a continuous process in which the use of the project management methods, in the creation and programming of programs like seminars, conferences, business exhibitions, and festivals revolves around. It includes planning, regulating and controlling actions and resources, which are used in operational implementation from the initial concept. The event management process includes studying the main aim and purpose of the event, identifying potential target audiences, finding appropriate program concepts, planning as well as coordinating the logistics furthermore finally implementing the proposed event (Abson, 2017).
The event selected is Music event for the charity collection for blind children’s education.
Live entertainment by Rock band
Play It Forward: Live Music Event
Date: Saturday, August 28th, 2018
Time: 1pm - 5pm
Place: Wye Village Centre
This event is a live music event for charity and this event raising over $8,000 for Blind children’s education. The fundraiser features three live bands, with proceeds going to children as well as youth programs.  This event typically family-friendly, all ages events with multiple categories of participation on offer.
Critical Success Factors
1) Type of Event
In the live music industry, it has been a long time for all kinds of reasons in the last decade. However, look under the surface, and you may be surprised to find the wealth of live music opportunities in your area. Almost this festival will not be long before summer; now it is full time to organize live music events. This is the music event I'm selected for this edition.
2) Target audience
The viewer's profile will mainly divide the male/female family groups of 20 - 60 years of age. Age Rockets for Alternate Rock are 16-25 years old for the target audience. Inadequate efforts are being made for people outside of this population to study for the examination (school, college, and university), going to parties, the most enjoyable time in their lives (socially). The Maslow's human needs hierarchy applies to the demographics of age as well as the social aspect of being a part of the group (in case of the choice of alternative rock music). The second group of viewers will be the main male of the alternative rock fans, and this can be because many artists in the genre are men. The alternative rock is a good follow up from women, but its men are dominated. It is expected that the crowd will be mainly good nature, but it is believed that alcohol or other addictive substances can be a major contributing factor in some person's behaviour.
3) Accessibility
While organizing an event, we ensure that the width of the entrance, lift, ramp and co
idor comply with the Australian standards. Ensure that automated doors are available by entry and are operational. During the concert, we ensure an accessible bathroom is available. Check that the bathrooms are working, the disorder is clear and easily accessible. Choose a place that can easily be accessed by public transportation Understand the laws su
ounding our location service animals. Check that the site's acoustics is sufficient and does not sound like the external source (residential, crowd, other events, etc.) While registering, advise the attendees to require any access, so that this adjustment can be managed as part of the program. Outline Accessibility Features of Your Selected Location Make sure digital invitations are accessible. Physical invitations are provided and we ensure that audiences can easily access digital editions. Guests and participants can register online with this email or online telephone in many ways. An online form or a third party booking service is used which is fully accessible. Information about easy access to the site, accessible parking facilities, general parking, and public transport system and site drop-off points are easily accessible (Brown, 2014). For ticket events, partner cards and similar services should be provided. Written content must be available in the required form before and after the event (such as
aille, large print, and audio, electronic). Signals, presentations, and written materials must have a handy cross-level level. Provide written content in plain English / Easy English options. Adjustable height microphones or zone microphones are required and we ensure that the hearing loop is available. Ensure that interpreters are located in a well-lit area and provide explicit visual and direct captions to the audience (make available through AI-Media). There is enough internet connection available for phone lines to add captions as well as to connect with your personal devices. The place must be burnt in full form evenly. The Event Management Team contains a variety of food options and includes things that are easy to eat. They contain food that is not very chaotic and ensure that the utensils that do not require utensils or complexity where employees are required to keep the attendees available are made less and available. Ensure special food (for example, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) is clearly labeled and readily available (Damm, 2012)   (Della Lucia, 2013). All video captions will be performed. If appropriate, the video should describe audio. The audio cannot be described, but the presenter should give any visual information that the person with less vision cannot access. Presenters should describe any visual information in their presentation.
Event Operations Plan
Event management will immediately notify the police. With bomb threats, the police will be responsible for coordinating any suspicious package or any response to the vehicle. While waiting for the deployment of emergency services, event management will identify the extent of the area which needs to be evacuated, the routes through which it should be and the routes which will have any relevant emergency vehicle.
Parking a
angements
There is no onsite parking for employees or customers. The participants can park in the car parks located at the venue site. General council parking restrictions will apply.
