TeamInn owners decided to build a new function and events room. The idea is to offer a more private space for their customers to gather and celebrate important dates or having informal business meetings.

They are also thinking about hiring a full-time event and functions manager to look after all the bookings, ordering of food, beverages, equipment and decorations needed for each and every function.

Please remember that from the Case Study it was found that there is a Mexican restaurant around the corner, who are their direct competitor, and they are famous for their weekly "Mexicano Night" functions. 

The investment in building and maintaining this new function room is very high so TeamInn owners contacted Hawkeye Marketing to help them with the Risk Management of this organisational change.

BSBSTR601 – Task 6 - RISK MANAGEMENT – RISK ASSESSMENT
1. Describe five (5) risks that could be associated to the new function room.
2. Be precise and detailed in your assessments of risks relating to the implementation of the new function room and consider ALL aspects – business; competitor; staffing; costs; marketing; equipment etc
3. Refer to Table 1 (Risk LIKELIHOOD and Risk CONSEQUENCE or IMPACT) to complete the IMPACT and LIKELIHOOD levels for each risk. 
4. Refer to Table 2 (RISK SCORING MATRIX) for LEVEL of RISK scores and to Table 3 (ACTION REQUIRED) for the required actions for each.
